Reviewers
Pages where an error would have practical consequences — size guides, packing guidance, vehicle storage and cost methodology — are checked against day-to-day facility practice before publication by our Facility Operations Review.
Facility Operations Review
Role: Self-storage operations reviewer
Size guides, packing guidance and vehicle storage pages are checked against day-to-day facility practice before publication.
What the review covers
- Whether stated unit dimensions, door widths and ceiling heights match what facilities actually offer
- Whether packing and access guidance is realistic in a working facility
- Whether vehicle storage requirements reflect what operators require in practice
- Whether cost components — fees, insurance, rate increases — match current operating norms
What it does not cover
The review checks operational realism, not arithmetic. Capacity figures are computed from the published model and verified against the dataset separately.
Which pages carry a review
| Page type | Reviewed | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Size guides | Yes | Dimensions and capacity claims have practical consequences |
| What fits pages | Yes | Item-level claims need to survive contact with a real unit |
| Cost pages | Yes | Fee structures and increase practices change |
| Vehicle storage | Yes | Facility requirements vary and getting them wrong wastes a journey |
| Guides | Case by case | Reviewed where the guidance is operational rather than arithmetic |
| Policy pages | No | Not subject matter review |
Every reviewed page shows the reviewer and the date it was last checked in its footer.
