Corrections policy
Report errors to hello@storagefit.com with the page URL and the figure in question. We acknowledge within two business days, correct verified errors immediately, and record any change to the capacity model as a version bump on the methodology page.
How to report an error
Email hello@storagefit.com with the page URL, the figure or statement you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — what you believe the correct value is and where it comes from. Corrections to published figures are prioritised over every other kind of enquiry.
What happens next
| Stage | Timing | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | Within 2 business days | We confirm receipt and tell you whether we are investigating |
| Investigation | Within 5 business days | We check the figure against the dataset and the model |
| Correction | Immediately once verified | The dataset or copy is fixed and the site is rebuilt, which propagates the fix to every affected page |
| Disclosure | With the correction | Material corrections are noted on the page; changes to the model bump its version and are recorded on the methodology page |
What counts as a material correction
A change that would alter a reader's decision: a capacity figure, a recommended size, a cost range, or a stated requirement. These are noted visibly.
Typographical fixes and clarifications that do not change a figure are made without a note.
Because every figure is computed from a shared dataset, a single dataset correction usually fixes dozens of pages at once — which is a feature, but also means we would rather hear about one wrong item volume than assume nobody noticed.
